Supernova is related to massive stars explosion in the sky. SN 1987A is a modern luminous supernova located in the Dorado constellation near dwarf galaxy and Large Magellanic Cloud. It was first discovered on February 24, 1987 by Oscar Duhalde and famous Canadian astronomer, Ian Keith Shelton. They made this discovery at Las Campanas Observatory in chile. Later, it was discovered by Albert F. A. L. Jones, an amateur astronomer of Newzealand.
