SN 1572 was an Ia type massive supernova located in the Cassiopeia constellation. It was discovered and observed by prominent Danish astronomer, Tycho Brahe. He made this discovery on November 11, 1572. He was well known alchemist and nobleman of his time. In his lifetime career he was well known for his accurate astronomy and planetary observations.
