Pneumonia is a fiery and dangerous condition of the lungs of human being. It mainly affects alveoli. It is commonly caused by the infections of viruses, fungi and bacteria. It was first discovered by Hippocrates of Cos, an ancient physician of Greek. He was born in 460 BC in Greece. Theodor Albrecht Edwin Klebs, German-Swiss pathologist was credited to be the first person to find the Bacteria of pneumonia in the year 1875.
