Cuba is an island and socialist state in the Caribbean. It comprises of the main island of Cuba and numerous archipelagos. Havana is the capital and largest city of Cuba. United States lies to its North and Bahamas, Mexico to its West. It was discovered on October 27, 1492 by Italian explorer Christopher Columbus. He discovered Cuba during his world’s expedition.
