Who first discovered the Solar System?

Solar system is defined as a system of nine planets their comets, moons, asteroids, meteoroids and other celestial bodies which moves around another star. Prominent Renaissance astronomer, Nicolaus Copernicus was credited to be the first discoverer of the solar system. He was born on Feb 19, 1473 and died on May 24, 1543.
