Thorium is a radioactive chemical element. Its chemical symbol is Th and atomic number is 90. In the year 1828, Jons Jacob Berzelius, a Swedish chemist discovered thorium. He studied on a new mineral which he found in Falun district of Sweden and discovered this new element.
