Cassiopeia is a constellation in the Northern sky. It is identified by its ‘W’ shape in the sky. It has two stars visible to the naked eye such as ρ Cas and V509 Cas.

The new star of Cassiopeia was discovered by prominent Danish astronomer, on 11 November 1572. It is now named as SN 1572.
