Edmontosaurus is a breed of animal called as dinosaur. They lived close to Tyrannosaurus dinosaurs and Triceratops dinosaurs. Their fossils were found in the rocks of Northern America in around 73 65.5 million years ago.

It was first discovered and depicted by American paleontologist, Edward Drinker Cope in 1871. The first clear description of edmontosaurus genus named as (Claosaurus annectens) was given in 1892 by American paleontologist, Othniel Charles Marsh.
