Colorado, also known as the Red River flows in the southwest region of the U.S. According to the available records, the credit for discovering this river goes to Francois de UIloa, who found it in the year 1539 when he started sailing upstream from the Gulf of California. The river starts from the Grand Lake and ends up into the Gulf of California.
