Stratosphere is one of the five layers of the atmosphere of the earth. It is second major layer of Earth’s atmosphere. It is located between two layers the troposphere and the mesosphere. It reaches to about 50 km distance above the earth’s surface. It was discovered by French meteorologist, Leon Philippe Teisserenc de Bort.
