The Saint Lawrence River is a large river situated in the North America. The Great Lakes is connected to the Atlantic Ocean through the Saint Lawrence River. It was discovered in 1535 by French explorer, Jacques Cartier. During his second expedition to Canada, with the help of Iroquoian chief Donnacona’s two sons, he found this river.
