Osteoporosis is a dangerous bone disease which leads to an increased risk of bone fractures. Various different medical researchers and Physicians of different times contributed to the discovery of osteoporosis disease with their efforts. Famous English physician, Sir Astley Paston Cooper was the first person to depict about osteoporosis. It was first medically delineated and named by the French surgeon, Jean Lobstein.
