Nitrous oxide is known as chemical compound and nitrogen’s oxide. Its chemical formula is N2O. It is mainly used in dentistry and surgery for its analgesic and anesthetic effects. It was first synthesized in 1772 by English chemist and natural philosopher, Joseph Priestley.
