Who discovered Mustard Gas?

Mustard gas is a poisonous gas which destroys the body organs and burns the skin critically. Sulfur mustards are colorless in its pure form. It was first discovered and developed in 1820s by Cesar-Mansuete Desperetez. Albert Friedrich Emil Niemann, a German chemist was the first to depicted toxic properties of mustard gas. Frederick Guthrie, a British scientific also described and synthesized its properties.
