Miranda is the smallest and innermost moon of Uranus Planet. It has a diameter of just about 500 kilometers. It is also known as Uranus V. It was discovered by Dutch-American astronomer Gerard Peter Kuiper. It was discovered on February 16, 1948 at McDonald Observatory in Texas, United States.
