Who discovered Knossos?

Knossos is the largest Bronze Age archaeological place located on the Crete Island. It is also known as Labyrinth or Knossos Palace. It was discovered by most prominent British archaeologist, Sir Arthur John Evans. He started enormous excavations at Knossos in 1900.
