King Tut was a famous Egyptian pharaoh. He became the king at the age of only nine. He died in 1346 B.C. at the age of 19. His tomb was discovered in November 1922 by Howard Carter, an English archaeologist and Egyptologist. Howard found his tomb in the Valley of the Kings at Thebes. It was a treasury tomb. Around 3000 treasures were found in his tomb.
