Insulin is a hormone in the body of human being which controls the blood sugar level. Insulin is helpful medicine for the diabetic patients. It connects with blood glucose to supply food to the brain and energy to the body.

It was discovered in 1921 by Sir Frederick Grant Banting, a Canadian medical scientist and doctor. In 1923, he won the Noble Prize for his great achievements in Medicine or Physiology.
