Who discovered Gaseous Ammonia?

Ammonia is a colorless bitter gas. It is a compound of hydrogen gas and nitrogen gas. It is mostly used for manufacturing the fertilizers. Its first description was given by famous polymath, a chemist and alchemist, Abu Musa Jabir ibn Hayyan. Gaseous ammonia was first discovered and isolated in 1774 by English theologian, Joseph Priestley.

He was born on March 13, 1733 in England. Claude Louis Berthollet, a Savoyard-French chemist identified the composition of ammonia in 1785.
